Character and Leadership

We encourage all of our members to be the best versions of themselves. By building a foundation based off trust, respect and understanding, we are able to create a climate of positivity within our programs. The incentive to be a productive member is never dimmed. At the end of each academic year, the member that has shown consistent growth in their character and leadership skills is nominated for Youth of the Year. From there, they are given the opportunity to compete for state, regional and national Youth of the Year.

All members are given the opportunity to be acknowledged and praised with our Youth of the Month award. Youth of the Month is a recognition program that makes club members aware of their own leadership abilities so that they may further enhance them.

Education

Education is the key to open many doors. Here, academics are a top priority and we make sure that our members have resources readily available in order to succeed. From backpacks and school supplies to tutoring, our efforts extend beyond our members to all youth in the surrounding areas.

"Power hour" is a program that is implemented during the school year, where an hour is devoted each day to the completion of homework, studying and silent reading.

Health and Life-skills

Throughout the school year, guest speakers present on various topics such as nutrition, storm and fire preparedness, bullying and many more relevant subjects. This ensures that our members have all of the knowledge and tools to take on the world.
