We would like to thank Jen Julie and all that participated in the Northwell Health Angle Tree program this year! All of our members loved their gifts that where so generously given by those at Northwell Health. This really brought joy and happiness to all the kids. Each one of them left here with a smile on their face and a gift in their hand. Thank you for helping us do all we can for this holiday season!

Looking for an opportunity to volunteer? Consider giving an hour of your time each week from October thru May to the New York State Mentoring Program (NYSMP)

Originally established in 1984 by former New York State First Lady Matilda Raffa Cuomo, the New York State Mentoring Program was relaunched in 2015 by Governor Andrew Cuomo.  Mrs. Cuomo serves as a pro bono chair of the revitalized program.  The mission of NYSMP is to promote the success of youth within the community, by establishing supportive mentor relationships with a statewide, site-based, unique one-to-one approach.

NYSMP leverages the resources of communities, schools and businesses to match youth with screened and trained volunteer mentors.  Dedicated adults guide youth in building positive relationships, developing self-esteem, and making positive life choices.  The program is free to partners, including schools, organizations and volunteers.
